Meet the Experts

  • Sam Meachin

Founder of The Wonderhood & Hypnobirthing Practitioner

After my first birth didn’t go quite to plan I was left feeling like a failure. I didn’t really know what had happened or why, my birth had just kind of unfolded. To understand what happened to me and how I could help myself and others avoid this feeling; I learnt everything I could about birth. I now support parents to take control of their birth, understand what is happening and feel confident to make their own informed choices throughout.

  • Olivia Hinge

    Lactation Consultant & Midwife

Having found establishing feeding with my first child really challenging, despite being a midwife. I decided to train as a lactation consultant and qualified in 2019. Since then I’ve been on a mission supporting families to make informed decisions around how they feed their baby. In a way that works for them as a family, based on facts and dispelling myths.

  • Hannah Clapham

Infant Sleep Consultant @ Little Nest

I can't remember a time when I didn't love sleep but when my son was born he had other ideas. I had a really hard time adjusting to motherhood and dealing with sleep deprivation. Night-time parenting just seemed to get harder and harder, but I didn't want to go down the sleep training route. And so I ended up becoming obsessed with the science (and art) of supporting baby sleep. I started helping friends with their families' nocturnal challenges and nap battles. Getting additional professional training in holistic gentle sleep support with Lyndsey Hookway and the team at Baby Em has been one of the best things I've ever done.
